You must have noticed my interest in quizzes?!

Maybe I will never learn to understand myself, therefore I like to take these tests ;-)
The following test "revealed" that I am social nerd. Am I?

hehehe! nice to see the quiz. :) and if we agree that the only constant thing in life is that everything keeps on moving, then it is clear that you keep on understanding yourself all the time. Actually, imho I think it is a good habit ;)

Now, I have no idea if in real life you are social or not, but if the quiz would have measure also impulsiveness, something tells me that you probably would had score high. From my Finnish experience, I must say is not so common to find impulsiveness in working hours.

Your comment Carolina reminds me about Hofstede's Cultural Dimensions.

Please, go to http://www.geert-hofstede.com/ and select countries on the left. This (old) data explains something about Finns and Finland. Or Mexico or Mexicans. But what does it tell about people who are always in the cross-section of different cultures?

Once I participated a conference in Cleveland, USA. People were encouraged to sing their national songs. I and my colleague did and chose "Isontalon Antti ja Rannanjärvi", a song with strong gestures and magnificent rhythm ;-)

An American lady whispered me afterwards " You Finns are so impulsive ". I am not sure if that was a compliment ;-)

I know about Hofstede, but I have my critics about him. I got to know him closer, on my first year in Finland, because I wanted to find elements to sustain my claim that there are more similarities between Mexican and Finnish culture than between Finnish and German culture (to the surprise of myself and others) and I wrote an essay about it (never publish, just for my enjoyment, well I share it to CIMO as a thankfulness for my grant) . Later I found out that at this experience is not personal, that several people, which had experience both cultures, agree with me. There are important inner elements in both cultures for this, which you can unveil after time of being immerse in both worlds.

And about the comment, well, keep it as a compliment :P

I have yet to take the test..but I most probably be either a Gamer/Computer Nerd or a Social Nerd too. :)
